The SunCover is a space-saving and innovative glasses case. Instead of letting the glasses you want to have at hand disappear in a clunky case inside your bag, you can hang them on the outside of your bag (or wherever you like) as a fashion statement. The SunCover protects your glasses from dust and scratches with soft microfiber fabric inside. For this luxury accessory, careful craftsmanship and the use of high-quality materials, such as the 24-carat gold-plated hardware, is a must. This charming, innovative idea of the SunCover has been protected by designer Anne Dickhardt with numerous patents worldwide.
We've always said, "Any pair of glasses will fit in the SunCover." But quite honestly, at the numerous optician trade fairs with their millions of glasses, we have already come across one or two that the SunCover did not fully cover. If your glasses exceed a lens height of 6 cm, they will stick out of the bottom of the SunCover. However, this is rarely the case even with very large glasses.
Yes, often! But not always. The SunCover is generally not designed for children's spectacles, because Children's glasses are sometimes not wide enough, depending on the age of the child. Any glasses with a width of at least 12 cm should fit in the SunCover without problems. For narrower glasses it is a matter of trying. For comparison: Adult glasses are 14 cm wide on average.
The Leather Hanger from the SunCover is included, but intentionally designed to be detachable, as sometimes you may prefer to attach the SunCover directly with its D-ring. For example, if you like to attach the glasses case to a carabiner, as is the case with the "SunCover Strap Clip", the adapter for the "Pocket PhoneStrap". If it should happen that you lose the Leather Hanger, there is the possibility to buy a replacement, either directly in the online store or on request, if the desired color is not available in the store
You can hang the SunCover on your bag in the classic way. For ANY DI handbags this works best on the metal rings of the handles. Some of our bags do not have these metal rings, but for these models we have added a small D-shaped ring that is specially designed for the SunCover. Of course, the SunCover will also fit other brands of bags, in which case you simply loop the SunCover's hanger around the bag's handle rather than through a ring on the bag.
There are no limits to the possibilities we have already discovered numerous creative ways to wear the SunCover. Attached to the belt loops of your pants for a particularly sporty look, or even on the rear-view mirror in your car, essential is only keeping the glasses reachable.
A popular carrying option for the SunCover is attached to our cell phone belt the "PocketPhoneStrap". For this purpose we offer an adapter especially developed to connect those two best-sellers, the "SunCover Strap Clip".
No, because the SunCover is already equipped with microfiber fabric inside, the material from which spectacle cleaning cloths are usually made. This material is especially gentle to your lenses and protects them from dust and scratches. On the road, you can wipe the surface of your lenses with the SunCover. For a thorough cleaning of the glasses, we recommend an ultrasonic cleaner.
